In support of their upcoming album, Bitter, GHUM have dropped the new single ‘Deceiver’. It’s a lyric driven track, and vocalist Laura explains: “It's a story about a relationship where one of the parties is starting to discover a selfish side to their lover, disappointment after disappointment the trust starts running low and the love starts to fade away. The resentment and the anger is growing and the person observing all this deceiving and selfish behaviour is gathering their strength together to leave this person behind.” Musically, it’s a catchy track full of attitude and energy. Gritty, distant guitars provide a bed for the punchy vocals to build into edgy snarls. Bitter drops on June 17th, 2022 and the band are on tour this summer. -Dan Peeke.
